Individual Counselling

Walk-ins and crisis sessions are accepted, but it is preferrable to call for an appointment to ensure a counsellor is available.

Group Counselling

Confidential support, education and advocacy for women who are or have been involved in an abusive relationship. Groups are offered in three phases; the first two phases run for 12 weeks. The third phase offers monthly support and follow-up. Women do not need to be a client to join one of the groups. Groups are being offered during the evenings only at present. Groups will be starting immediately so please call 460-2195 if you are interested.

New Directions

This program focuses on children, youth, and mothers who have experienced or witnessed spousal abuse. It provides them with group support and education about abuse. The parents are also provided with gender-specific groups that include a parenting component. New Directions is grounded in the belief that children deserve healthy parenting whether the parents choose to stay together or not.  Please call 460-2195 ASAP if you are interested in joining.
