About SAIF
SAIF is a registered non-profit agency that has been working in the community since 1989. Our mission is to support those affected by family violence through confidential counselling services; to advocate on behalf individuals in abusive relationships; and to educate children, youth, and parents in the prevention of violence.

Through education, support and advocacy the St Albert SAIF Society promotes healthy, respectful relationships.

There shall be no abuse in Society.
We Believe
• Each individual has dignity, is unique and deserves respect.
• Each individual shall live without fear of physical, sexual, emotional, verbal financial or spiritual abuse.
• Violence is never an appropriate method of problem solving.

Together with the City of St. Albert and other local agencies that are funded in part by Family and Community Support Services grants, we:
- meet needs in our community
- help people to help themselves
- deliver preventive social services
- enrich and strengthen family life and community life, and
- demonstrate the power of caring.
