Welcome

 For 20 years, the St. Albert Stop Abuse In Families (SAIF) Society has provided free services to clients that are experiencing abuse and its devastating effects to the family unit.   We also offer support groups, and provide educational prevention programs to schools and youth groups in our community. 

Employment Opportunities

SAIF is a non-profit organization that offers Eduational and Counselling services to adults who have been victims of domestic violence.  We are currently expanding to meet the growing community need for our services and have the following 2 positions available.

 

RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Full Time Position

  Position Summary: The main function of this position is to raise funds for the operations of SAIF. This includes: proposal preparation, grant applications, events and special projects planning and coordination, volunteer coordination, community groups/committess representation.

 

Successful applicant will have a proven track record of experience in this area, possess the ability to prioritize and organize, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work as part of a highly motivated team of professionals.

 

Salary offered is based on $21.00 per hour for 35 hours per week.

REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST

Part Time Position 

Position Summary: This position will carry a small case load providing counselling to SAIF clients, and will provide clinical supervision to the other counsellors on staff. Incumbent must have 5 years experience.

 

This position is for 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the clients.

 

Salary offered will be decided based on qualifications.
